Re-enactors portraying soldiers of Company E, 2nd Wisconsin Infantry will guide you as you inspect the equipment, weapons, uniforms, and gear, typical of a soldier from 1914-1918. Watch and participate in the training activities of a World War I soldier, including skirmish drills, trench clearing exercises, bayonet training, and field drills. Re-enactors portraying soldiers from Company C, 1st Battalion, 401st Regiment, 101st Division first organized in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1921; will show visitors what it was like to train as a soldier during World War II. See their stateside encampment, weapons, gear, and learn about the lives of soldiers during the tumultuous years from 1939-1945.
