College Ave., Appleton CONTACT: Jill Thomas, 920-832-7013 jill.g.thomas@lawrence.edu Lawrence will host the national traveling exhibition "Abraham Lincoln: A Man of His Time, A Man for All Times." The month-long display in the Lawrence library traces Lincoln's path from a self-educated, rough-hewn lawyer with virtually no administration experience, to the president who guided a divided nation through secession, crises of slavery and Civil War. Free and open to the public. The exhibition is organized by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History and is made possible in part through a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
